I have been lifting weights for 20 years and have made a living training others for the last 14 years. Weight training is my life and it’s all I have ever done for a living. In fact I have never even had a real job outside of the fitness industry since I graduated high school. Training and nutrition is my life and is all I’ve ever known.
Unlike many people out there trying to sell you their training programs, I am actually a world renowned fitness expert and have sold my products and services in nearly 43 countries. You may have seen me in any number of fitness magazines or websites. I have written countless articles for magazines such as Men’s Health, Maximum Fitness, Today’s Man and Men’s Fitness, where I am the head training advisor and have my own monthly column called The Hard-Gainer. In fact, I have trained nearly 1,000 clients in my career and during one ten year stretch I actually worked a minimum of ten hours per day, five to six days per week, helping people get big and strong.

Finally, I should point out that I am a life time natural lifter, meaning that I have never touched steroids or any other kinds of legal or illegal drugs to help me along in the muscle building process. I have done it all naturally and am living proof that you can too.
I have spent my entire life studying weight training and nutrition and have experimented with every possible training system and diet under the sun. You see, when I was young, I was always the weakest, scrawniest kid around. I was the one who always got made fun of, who always got picked last in gym class or on the playground and who always got bullied by all the bigger kids. I hated it and desperately wanted to change my life for the better.
During 8th grade I decided to finally try and do that. My cousin was dating a guy who happened to be an ex football player who was wrestling professionally at the time. He became my idol and I wanted to get big and strong like him no matter what it took. He wrote me a routine and I did everything he said, six days a week, two hours a day for 16 weeks straight. Four months later I looked exactly the same.
The next year during my freshman year of high school, things only got worse. I was now surrounded by much older kids, all of whom were nearly twice the size of me. They used to knock my books down in front of a hallway full of students, shove me in lockers and terrorize me in whatever other creative ways they could come up with and there was nothing I could do about it.
And forget about getting girls. What girl would want to be with a 96 pound weakling who was constantly getting beaten up or made fun of?
Over the next several years I tried absolutely everything. I read every magazine and used all the routines and supplements they recommended. Meanwhile I was getting told that I was too small to make the football team and getting laughed at every time I entered the weight room.
After four years of busting my ass day in and day out, I graduated high school at a whopping 147 pounds! I was scrawny, pathetic and weak. In fact, I couldn’t even bench press 95 pounds at the time. It was downright mortifying.
Unfortunately it didn’t get much better over the next few years either. There were occasional glimmers of hope here and there and I actually made some decent progress from time to time but could never figure out to make that progress on a consistent basis.
Eventually I decided that the answers couldn’t be found in the magazines so I invested in a slew of training books and new muscle building systems.

Still, I got nowhere fast.
But that wasn’t where my efforts ended. Oh no, not by a long shot. Over the course of several years I actually wasted close to $60,000.00 in supplements! That is not a misprint; you read it right. I used an average of $400.00 worth of supplements per month. This should not sound outlandish because I am sure that many of you are doing it right now. Now take that $400.00 and multiply it by 12. The saddest part for me was that I truly believed that each of these would be the answer to my prayers. I took all of the pills that I was supposed to every single day, handful after handful. They write about workouts that will leave you over-trained because no one not using steroids could recover from them. Then when you aren’t making progress on these programs, they tell you that you need the latest miracle supplement to help you reach your goals. And it goes on and on and on. It is a vicious circle of lies that never ends. All it does is empty your wallet and make them rich.
The supplement industry is a multibillion dollar business these days and it’s all based on lies. The magazines and websites who are spreading these lies are the same ones who own the supplement companies, so of course there is a hidden agenda. Why would they ever teach you how to eat and train properly? If they did that you would make tremendous progress and wouldn’t need to waste hundreds of dollars per month buying their crap.
The whole thing is really quite sickening and unfortunately there has never been anything you could do to protect yourself from getting scammed by these thieves…until now!
I am here to blow the lid off the supplement industry and the scams perpetrated by most of the magazines and websites that they are affiliated with.

I have discovered that not only are most supplements useless, but they could actually be robbing you of muscle growth. It’s true; some of the garbage and poison that you put in your body could be doing you way more harm than good. These supplements could not only damage your health but could seriously slow down your gains by lowering your testosterone production, slowing down your thyroid and burning out your adrenal glands!
Another conclusion I came to is that no one is really sure exactly how they should be eating to gain muscle based on their specific body type.
